Volume × helpfulness × early detection

Your ear score is a single public badge on your @handle, computed from three things you cannot fake. It is earned move by move — never assigned at signup, never for sale.

Volume

How much you actually listen. Every verified listen — 30 real seconds or half the track, checked server-side — counts toward your standing. No skimming, no farming.

Helpfulness

The makers you react to rate your feedback. Notes that genuinely helped lift your multiplier; lazy taps do not. Useful critics literally get heard more.

Early detection

Backing a track before it charts is the hardest signal of all. When your early call is borne out by the weekly ranking, your score jumps the most.

Your ear score is public. It sits on your profile next to your handle, so anyone — makers, labels, other tastemakers — can see the ears behind the opinion.

Discovered by you

Your call, on the record.

Back a riser before it climbs and your name rides up with it. When a track you saved early breaks into the weekly per-genre charts, the credit line reads "Discovered by @you" — a permanent, public receipt that you heard it first.
