What counts as a play
A playlist play is a full gated listen — 30 real seconds or half the track, checked server-side, credited to the maker exactly like a deck listen. Skips don't count, repeat plays are capped per listener, and the listener earns no ear for it: only the reciprocal deck loop does that.
Adding a track to a playlist never raises ear score — playlists are discovery, not an economy input.
Saving a playlist is a bookmark, like a follow. It credits no ear and writes nothing to any ledger.
